Jason Fell (Idle Jack)

This is Jason's second time round playing the audience's favourite. This year he is playing Idle Jack (stories of being typecast are circulating). He is fitting into his role beautifully, and it's been rumoured that he's even playing the character around Caterham. Thank goodness he's not the Dame.

Joe McCarthy (Mother Goose)

This is Joe's first Woldingham Panto (so please go easy on him). However he has appeared in panto in Lewes with his former A-Level theatre studies group. Funnily enough, he had to wear a frock for that one as well! His most recent shows include 'Our Country's Good' and 'The Hypochondriac'. He hopes that you all enjoy the show as much as he is, and reminds you to "BOO" Jabberwock... and not Mother Goose.

Tony Dent (Jabberwock)

Tony took a 'Gap Year' from Woldingham Pantomime last year but is back, promising more unpleasantness and bad attitude as Jabberwock. Brother Max (Ziggi) has learned bad habits, having played the role of Christopher in Tony's recent production of 'Cause Celebre' for the Parlour Players. Tony's future plans are a little vague, but there's no peace for the wicked and you can be sure that he won't be resting.

A word from the chairman...

Simon Aggiss (Chairman) Welcome to the 36th Woldingham Pantomime performed in this hall. This year, as you know, is 'Mother Goose', last performed here in 1977. I'm sure you will enjoy this year's show as unlike the 70s, we have modern technolarge (sic) to go with a bang or a flash. I would like to thank my committee for all their support and everyone who has helped to put the show together. Our director this year is James Peacock who is no stranger to this stage, playing many parts in the past from panto to comedies.

James Peacock (Director)

It's all downhill!! From Dame to camp Genie... and now director! Next year I expect to make the teas! Nevertheless, I've really enjoyed my second (ed note: actually his third for Woldingham Panto) directorial stint and thank all the cast, dancers and backstage crew who have worked so hard to make this the wonderful show I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Tracey Wainwright (Choreographer)

Tracey is delighted to be back choreographing her sixth panto at Woldingham. Since her last visit, she has completed her drama degree, directed and choreographed productions in the UK and USA, and is currently working at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking. She's pleased to be part of the team on stage as well as off, and hopes that she doesn't get the dances wrong.

Jo Kirk (Knave of Hearts)

Like Ellie, this is Jo's seventh panto for Woldingham and she is pleased to have been chosen to play Principal Boy. She has just obtained an A* in her Drama GCSE exams and is studying Theatre Studies for her A-Levels at Oxted school.

Ellie Kirk (Jill)

Ellie and Jo have both been involved in the Woldingham Panto for many years, and Ellie is thrilled to be Principal Girl for the first time. She has been involved in professional theatre such as 'Tess of the Durbervilles' and has appeared on TV in 'Bramwell', 'Ghosthunters', and the Brit Awards in 1996. She is also studying Drama for GCSE.

Ziggi Szafranski (Mad Max)

Ziggi is a pupil at Trinity school in Croydon and also attends Stagecoach. He has performed for Woldingham Panto for eight years and is delighted to try his hand at a (junior) villain role... boo, hiss. He has sung in Bath, Coventry Cathedral and the Millennium Dome, and is proud to have sung for the Queen in 1988. He has acted professionally on TV in 'Alas Smith and Jones'  and more recently as Christopher in Tony's production of 'Cause Celebre' and is looking forward to partnering him again.
