Jason Fell (Wishee Washee)

This is Jason's first principle role in the Woldingham Pantomime and he's thrilled at having the chance to play that useless but loveable chap Wishee Washee!

His hobbies include sheep shearing and sewing sequins on the costumes of the local synchronised swimming team!

Chris Chaplin (Widow Twanky)

Chris is such a fool, not only has he agreed to do an eighth pantomime, he has also agreed to play the Dame. (He didn't need too much persuading, as soon as he saw the frocks, there was no stopping him!) His last part was also in tights as King Arthur, he has also played Dracula and The Prince of Mexico, as well as being slapped around as Fred in Kiss Me Kate. Chris' ambition is to climb Mount Everest in a pair of sling backs!

Phil World (Abanazar)

This is Phil's first outing for Woldingham, although he has previously appeared for Copthorne Players in many plays and musicals, even learning to tap dance for Stepping Out. He enjoys being the villain, so don't forget to hiss and boo -the louder you are, the nastier he'll be! In his spare time, Phil enjoys miming to old Judy Garland records!

From the Chairman

Welcome to Woldingham Pantomime, I am sure you will enjoy the show, I would like to thank my committee for their support this year and also everyone who has helped to put the pantomime together. Thanks to Jon Fox (Director), this is his first Woldingham Pantomime. This years' Aladdin was written by Peter Denyer, better known as Dennis in the TV show Please Sir. So sit back and enjoy the show, if you would like to take part in panto on or off stage look out for next years' dates in July.

Jon Fox (Director) Jon is very committed to all theatrical art forms from Shakespeare to Music Hall and still takes every chance to perform, mainly in musicals or his first love, G & S. As a director too, he is always busy, currently directing The Pajama Game for East Grinstead Operatic and next summer the Mikado for his own company, 'The Utopians'. Together with his partner Sue, he regularly entertains at afternoon and lunch clubs and for charity functions.

Lydia Collingridge (Choreographer) Lydia was delighted to be asked to choreograph the pantomime for the first time. She has been a dancer in previous pantomimes. Lydia has been studying ballet with the Parks School of Dancing from the age of 2! Her experience in choreography comes from studying GCSE Dance at RAD, where she attained an A*.

Richard Hare (Musical Director) Richard has performed with numerous opera groups, choirs, vocalists and instrumentalists including New London Singers, Surrey Opera, Opera for All, Beaufort Opera, Royal Academy Soloists and others. He is a prize-winning graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, and has been keyboard soloist, singer and conductor in concerts in Paris, Seville, Amsterdam, Germany, Austria and Italy - as well as closer to home in many London venues. His next stage show in the lighter music field is Me and My Girl with WODS in April.

Lorraine Keeble (Aladdin)

This is Lorraine's fourth pantomime for Woldingham, and she is very pleased to have risen from Fairy Godmother to principle boy in Aladdin. She has appeared in many productions over the years including Gypsy, Mame, Cabaret, Kiss Me Kate and Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk. But when not putting on huge amounts of make-up and thigh-high boots (and that's just for popping out to Booth's for a loaf of bread), she enjoys swimming, reading and most of all, shopping!

Marianne Hare (Princess So-Shi)

Marianne started performing at the age of fourteen when she played the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz. She has since played roles from Ida in Die Fledermaus to Sally Smith in Me and My Girl and most recently Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady at the Ashcroft Theatre. Playing Princess So-Shi will be her first role in a pantomime.
