James Peacock

(Fanny) Having been allowed to wear a dress last year, as the Dame, wild horses would have been unable to prevent me from offering my services again. Despite appearing in many plays and pantos in Woldingham over the years, I feel I have found my niche 'goatie' free, in a frock, wearing tights and sporting a fine pair of !!*!!?

Tony Dent (King Rat)

From Squire Jampton to King Rat in a year could qualify Tony as a mayoral candidate for London in the current (Woldingham) pantomime - talk about life initiating art! He's had a brief taste of the aristocratic life playing the Duke of Norfolk in 'A Man For All Seasons' for the Miller Centre, but reverted to his artisan origins creating the rundown provincial theatre set for Parlour Players recent production of the 'Dresser'. The one certain point in the year of the millennium is pantomime, but will it be frocks or frights!

Kevin Piper & Fiona McNally (Directors)

Whilst Kevin was still rehabilitating after last year's Panto, and Fiona remained blissfully unaware of her forthcoming fate, plans were afoot to make sure that these two had a quite unexpected Christmas and New Year. Nevertheless, thanks to the support and good humour of the cast and crew they are both thoroughly enjoying their first collaborative effort as directors, and wish everyone a successful and enjoyable pantomime!

A word from the chair...

David Martin (Chairman) Welcome to the first Pantomime of the new Century (the M.......word is forbidden!). We have been gratified by the number of local youngsters who have wanted to take part in the last few years and we are pleased to have been able to give them all the opportunity. Adult cast members are more of a problem, so if you have enjoyed the production, and fancy taking part next year, please look out for the Auditions next July. I wish to thank all my hard-working Committee for their invaluable support during my stint as Chairman. With the talent on show this year, the future of Woldingham Pantomime is in good hands.

Jo and Ellie have been treading the boards in Woldingham for a few years now, quite a feat for two so young (15 and 13).

Jo Kirk (Dick) Jo has been dancing for seven years and has appeared in many productions, her last being Lysander in A Midsummer's Night Dream. This is her first role as principal boy.

Ellie Kirk (Puss) Meanwhile Ellie (The Cat who can't purrrr!!) has recently achieved her life-long ambition of appearing in a West End show, and is currently appearing in the production of Tess of the d'Urbervilles.

Devon Pearce (Alice)

Devon attends Woldingham School where she appeared as Tom Sawyer in their school production. She has been dancing since the age of six and is thrilled to be appearing as principal girl in her first Woldingham Panto.
