Tony Dent (Squire Jampton)
After a string of Dames, Squire Jampton is a welcome "straight" role for Tony. This is his third year with Woldingham Pantomime, and sees the end of another busy year with the Parlour Players. Never one to underplay a role, Tony loves the boisterous, larger than life good humour that goes along with playing panto... and will muster all his energy to put it to good use as this year's villain.
James Peacock (Norma Stitz)
Despite having successfully played Buttons in many a great good memorable... production, when the director asked if anyone would be prepared to put on a dress as the Dame, several small children were trampled and a props lady slightly injured by James' enthusiastic attempt to catch the director's eye. Unaccustomed as James is to wearing a dress in public, he see seems to be handling it quite well!... and James as the Dame could become a regular occurrence unless we can find someone to talk him out of the frock.

Kevin Piper (Director)
Having written a review for the pantomime last year implying that the director must have been sent mad by his task, Kevin is very pleased to have the experience first hand! So far only a nervous twitch has developed. After working in the theatre for a number of years including some fleeting TV appearances he moved into teaching, both adults and children, and has always found it interesting that in pantomime children immediately behave like adults, and that adults begin to behave like children. The Woldingham Pantomime is no exception! On a more serious note, he would like to thank the various talents, choreography, costume making, music, lighting, props, set etc., as well as a hard working committee that go towards making a very complicated task look simple.
David Martin (Chairman)
At the time of writing we are in the early days of rehearsals but already I can see the basis of a successful show emerging under the very capable direction of Kevin Piper with his first pantomime. I would like to thank the committee for their hard work in supporting me this year. This is the 30th panto production (ed note: actually the 50th panto... or 28th excluding original Woldingham Women's Institute and Woldingham Players productions) and I would urge all of you to volunteer and help in future years so this wonderful tradition can continue to be enjoyed.

Caroline Westmarland (Ariel)
This is Caroline's sixth Woldingham Pantomime. Having last appeared as Wendy in 'Peter Pan', Caroline is delighted to be part of the Woldingham Pantomime family again after a six year "rest" and promises not to leave it so long next time.
Lorraine Keeble (Jack)
Lorraine first got the taste for show biz when she started dancing at the age of
six -

Sarah Greenwood & Fiona McNally (Watt & Wye)
Many years ago than they care to remember, Sarah and Fiona... or rather Fiona and Sarah (is it age before beauty or pearls before swine?) they did a double act in 'Ali Baba' playing two "past it" belly dancers. Fiona played the small bossy one and Sarah didn't. Despite much advice they thought they'd do it again and possibly this time get it right... of course that all depends on what you mean by "right".
