David Sykes (Muddles)
A regular to the Woldingham village stage, David has performed in a variety of plays
from comedies to musicals, and later this year he will be performing for Woldingham
in the Betchworh Drama competition. However his main love is still panto. With over
half a decade of performances under his belt, and the fact that no-
Tony Dent (Dora Dumpling)
It's great to have Tony back with us again as our Dame as he was such a hit in last year's show. His experience in panto and more serious stage work has been a great asset to our little group. As well as acting appearances at the Miller Centre and the Parlour Players at Sanderstead, Tony enjoys set design and directing, having last year staged 'A Man for all Seasons' and 'Witness for the Prosecution'. We hope you all give Dora loads of support as she tries to save Snow White from the evil Queen.

Delyse Borley (Queen Evilena)
A welcome newcomer to Woldingham Panto, Delyse was born in New Zealand and has been
involved in many musicals -
Chris Goodwin (Director) I had so much fun during last year's production that I couldn't say no when given the opportunity to direct again. We have a great cast again this year with some new faces for you to boo, hiss or cheer at. Although we are an amateur group, we do try to put on a show as entertaining as we can. This would be impossible if it wasn't for the dedication of the backstage boys and girls. I would especially like to thank Tracey Wainwright whose hard work and imagination with the choreography has certainly brought the show to life, and Joan Oliver with her group of helpers whose experience in knowing how to dress a panto is invaluable. I must also thank Julian Williams for his professional touch with the lighting, the construction crew, John Pilbeam who designed the sets, Bruce Day our SM and Steve Constable who year after year has done so much work behind the scenes.
A word from the chairman...
Finbarr O'Mahony (Chairman) I would like to thank everyone for their talent, good humour and hard work which I'm sure will make this year's pantomime a great success. A special thanks must go to Chris Goodwin for being brave enough to direct for the second year running. And finally, thank you for supporting us. Please sit back, be vocal and enjoy the show.

Karen Hart (Prince Lancelot)
Another welcome newcomer to Woldingham, this will be Karen's first performance since she was seven years old when she played Snow White in the school pantomime. However, at 5'11" tall, she felt it unlikely that she would get that role this time round. As Prince Lancelot she promises to give her best performance with plenty of thigh slapping!
Marnie Pitcher (Snow White)
We are pleased to have Marnie back on the boards having helped out backstage during
last year's production. Prior to that she was our principal girl in 'Frankenstein'
in 1994, 'Ali Baba' in 1995 and 'Cinderella' in 1996. So fearless Marnie has been
threatened by monsters, bandits and spiders, whatever next! Tip for 1998 -

Chris Chaplin (Court Chamberlain)
Having enjoyed various drama festivals at home and abroad, Chris has now returned to his old favourite for a sixth run with the Woldingham Panto. In the past he enjoyed roles as varied as Dracula and the Prince of Mexico, and this year as the Court Chamberlain. He hopes that you all enjoy the usual jokes, singing and dancing as much as he does.
