David Sykes (Much the Miller's son)
For the last few years David has been actively involved in various local amateur dramatic groups and societies. As well as performing in four pantomimes for Woldingham, he has also performed for the Woldingham Players and the Miller Centre in a variety of stage plays from Shakespeare to Tom Stoppard. This is his first year in a lead role in the pantomime but not his first acting as village idiot.
Tony Dent (Dame Trott)
This is Tony's first Dame for Woldingham but only one of many 'outings' in this role! Panto is always lots of fun and this year is no exception with a very young and enthusiastic cast of Babes. As well as acting appearances at the Miller centre and Parlour Players at Sanderstead, Tony enjoys set design and directing, having recently staged 'A Man for all seasons' and 'Witness for the prosecution'.

Sue Barden (Sheriff of Nottingham)
Sue is making her debut in pantomime this year in the challenging role of the Sheriff of Nottingham. This unusual casting means that Sue will not only have to menace the children... but show off her legs as well!!

David Kiely (Sir Guy of Gisborne)
This is David's first venture onto the stage since his school days, despite this we are glad to welcome him as a newcomer with all the potential to make a great stage 'nasty'. He hopes that you all enjoy the show and that you'll encourage him with plenty of booze (sic) and hisses!
A word from the chairman...
Finbarr O'Mahony (Chairman) Becoming chairman of the Woldingham Pantomime this year was a totally unexpected honour (!!) and I am now grateful for this opportunity to thank publicly everyone involved in this production for their efforts and friendliness over the last few months. In particular I must thank our director Chris Goodwin. Being director of a pantomime is an exceptional amount of hard work to shoulder, we're all very grateful for your work, Thanks Chris!
Chris Goodwin (Director)
This has been a wonderful opportunity for me to 'work' with some of the people that
have made previous pantomimes the great successes they have been. Woldingham is very
lucky to have Simon Aggiss and Joan Oliver whose efforts year after year have played
a huge part in the high standard of the productions. My task has been made much easier
by having the talents of Tracey Wainwright to work the dance routines, Jan Szafranski
to create the sets and Alma Pitcher who has done so much, together with other members
of the committee, to bring this show to the stage. Many thanks to cast and production
crew for their hard work and patience, especially Tony Dent for becoming our Dame
at almost the eleventh hour and also to Margaret Boosey for creating a terrific 'Dudley'.
Thank you all for supporting the panto -

Thea Pitcher (Lady Marian Fitzwalter)
This is Thea's fourth appearance for Woldingham Pantomime, many of you will remember her skating around the stage in last years 'Cinderella'. She has enjoyed playing Marian and hopes that you will support her in ridding Nottingham of the baddies.
Susanella Clarke (Robin Hood)
Susanella has been in many performances but this is the first time that she has trod the boards at Woldingham. She has greatly enjoyed being involved with this production and has threatened to return next year.

Zbigniew 'Ziggi' Szafranski (John Fitzwalter)
Ziggi, who is 8 years old, attends Woodlea school in the village. This is his third Woldingham Pantomime, and first in a principal role. You may remember him bringing the house down as 'The Pot' in last year's 'Cinderella'. We think that he's a star in the making.

Ellie Kirk (Jane Fitzwalter)
Ellie is 10 years old and also attends Woodlea school. This is her second Panto for us, having played the skating 'Treat' in last year's 'Cinderella'. Last February she appeared on stage with Michael Jackson in the Brit Awards and was in 'Three cheers for Mrs Butler' at the Polka Theatre. We think she's another star in the making.

Lorraine Keeble (Rosie Apple)
Lorraine has been involved in amateur dramatics since 1986. Starting off in Bristol and appearing in many musicals, plays and pantos, moving on to the Wimbledon Theatre and now, the highlight so far, Woldingham Village Hall. Past shows have included 'Mame', 'Cabaret', 'Gypsy' and 'La Cage aux Folles'.
