Jack Barratt (Captain Hook)

Jack, a veteran of local pantomimes; began his association with the Woldingham group 20 years ago as the Panto pianist and has appeared in leading roles many times. This year, he makes the ultimate sacrifice when his left hand is chopped off - and a hook screwed on in its place.

Emma Jones (Peter Pan)

This is Emma's first Woldingham Pantomime and what a flying start to be cast in the lead as Peter Pan. Undaunted, she has taken flying lessons and promises not to use a safety net for any of her terrifying stunts. Being a keen singer, Emma will be in her element ruling the roost at Woldingham this year.

Caroline Westmarland (Wendy)

Caroline lives in Woldingham. She appeared in her first Woldingham Pantomime in 1988, and has been in the productions ever since. Last year she played Princess Balroulbador in Aladdin and was carried on stage by two Chinese Policemen - this year she will be carried away by Peter Pan!

Richard Vanderpump (Laughing Water)

Richard first appeared in the Woldingham Pantomime in 1970 playing the part of Idle Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk. He subsequently co-wrote and produced other productions. Now living in Dormans Park, he has been lured back for an enormous fee!! But he is in good voice for this year's stupendous production.

A word from the chairman...  (How we got to Neverland)

Chris Mikami (Chairman) May I extend a very warm welcome to everyone who is attending the Woldingham Pantomime for the first time. To those who have been before and have been dragged screaming to the hall against their better judgement, I promise a wonderfully entertaining evening of tension, high drama, and comedy!!! Trust me!!! This year's pantomime reaches new heights, well at least Emma Jones our Peter Pan does. I promise she will fly faster than it's taken the cast to learn their scripts, so she should be a blur. To get her to fly has, as usual, been a huge team effort and may I thank everyone involved, especially our Peter Lavin (this is his first crack at producing us - poor chap!), our secretary Maureen Westmarland, to whom I have had a very bad habit of delegating almost everything, and of course, my long suffering committee for putting up with me as Chairman. I know you are going to enjoy this year's pantomime, there should be some special moments. So please sing heartily and make lots and lots of noise, if you need any assistance the bar is always there to help!!! Have a great evening.

Peter Lavin (Director) Peter has been involved with Amateur Productions for over 10 years. Besides playing major and minor roles for the last two years he has leaned towards directing plays which include Alphabetical Order, Lion in Winter, Semi-Detached and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Peter says it was a great thrill and challenge when the Woldingham Pantomime Committee asked if he would direct this year's production of Peter Pan. This wonderful story by James Barrie has been adapted by John Morley and it brings all our childhood adventures to life. Although this musical Pantomime is a later adaptation of the book, the story line is prevalent throughout the production. There is comedy, pathos and audience participation which Peter hopes you will all enjoy.
