Ziggi Szafranski (Buttons)

Ziggi first trod the boards at age 6 in 1995’s ‘Ali Baba’. Since then he has been in 11 pantos, 9 of which were in the Village Hall, and has appeared in numerous other productions such as Daddy Warbucks in ‘Annie’ (for which he even shaved his hair off!), Bill Sykes in ‘Oliver!’ (having already been both Oliver and Dodger!) and this Summer as God in ‘Children of Eden’! He spent the last year taking a more play-orientated stance as Benedick in ‘Much Ado about Nothing’ and Algernon in ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’, and he in his 2nd year at Imperial College, London where he is reading Chemistry. Always busy on stage he has nevertheless managed to find time to appear on the BBC in ‘TittyBangBang2’, record some Language Tapes and do some internet Virals! He hopes you enjoy the show and remember... keep looking after his bag for him!

Sarah Coldwell (Cinderella)

January 2008 saw Sarah in her first Woldingham Pantomime and she had such a great time thanks to the audience, cast and crew that she’s come back this year to do it all again! This year, as Cinders, she’s playing a part that every girl probably dreamed about as a little girl: a scruffy kitchen maid being turned into a princess overnight by her magical fairy godmother, glass slippers and Prince Charming! It’s a dream come true! She very much looks forward to seeing all the adults and children having fun, smiling and laughing and (hopefully!) singing along to all the songs! Have a great night!

James Peacock (Hollyhock)

Once again James gets to wear a skirt on stage at Woldingham, much to his wife’s bemusement.  This year he is continuing his comedy duo partnership with Chris Mikami, but rather than Policemen they are trying their hand at the Ugly Sisters.  Life has been made so much easier this year as James has also directed the Panto.  When asked how this has gone, he responded by saying “It was excellent, I only had to shout at myself twice and both times I was in the wrong!!”

Chris Mikami (Pansy)

Chris is back again this year after a memorable performance as ‘Ruthless’ last year and is yet again playing alongside James as one of the two women...men...well one of the two at least! This year sees Chris continuing his stint back onstage for us after he was persuaded to get back to treading our boards as a Dame! He is thoroughly enjoying slipping back into the dresses, nails and makeup, and due to popular request, we even get to see him sing again this year; what more could you want?!
