A word from the Committee... (Production Report) 'Red Riding Hood' was our very first production 60 years ago back in 1948, then by the Women's Institute. And from these humble beginnings it has grown into the wonderful tradition that everyone in the village looks forward to being a part of, either in preparation, backstage, performing, or taking part as the audience. It is a unique and special tradition that keeps going from strength to strength thanks in main to the enthusiasm and dedication of its ever changing committee.

To celebrate the 60 gloriously entertaining years, the committee decided to mark the occasion by putting on (an updated version of) the original show: 'Red Riding Hood' and re-unite members and performers past and current, and in keeping with tradition, members new. With characters and costumes from past productions joining the characters on stage, this show promises to be one to remember for another 60 years!

Many thanks to everyone who has helped make this year's show as wonderful as we're sure you'll agree it is, the committee for it's hard work, Marian for the costumes, and you the audience for your support... long may the tradition continue. Enjoy the show!

Sarah's connection to the panto is longstanding having been in many including last year's. This will be her third here as director, so as she says 'third time lucky'. Sarah's enthusiasm and dedication has been second to none and for this we thank her. She's joined, fresh from getting married, by Claire, again as choreographer (last seen weaving wonders in 2006's production), and Helen who steps up this year to Musical Director following her success last year when she stepped in to take over music duties as Repeteteure. We'd like to thank them both
